Spring Fed Pond

At just over 2 acres, our pond is a getaway within a getaway. Surrounded by lush groves of Wax Myrtle and other native shrubs, the pond is the perfect secluded oasis for a day of fishing, swimming, kayaking, or canoeing. For a more relaxing time, take the paddle boat out for a leisurely spin.
Swimming Pool

Not quite ready for the ‘natural’ experience that comes with a dip in the pond? Head up to the main house and enjoy the day in our swimming pool. Relax in or out of the water, as the sun travels across the sky. A fun game of volleyball is just a suggestion away. You can also lounge on the pool deck, or under the shade of the back porch without missing a minute of the party.
Horseback Riding & Equine Activities

For the horse lovers, we offer a variety of activities! If you ride, enjoy a guided Trail Ride around the property. Not a rider, but have always wanted to learn? Schedule time for basic lessons. We also offer Equine Assisted Activities including Growth & Learning, Team Building, and Therapeutic Activities. We have a broad range of horses to match with your skill level and ability. Inquire at check in and schedule your appointment today!
Shower House

Our unisex shower house is tastefully decorated with a rustic chic look composed of 80% recycled building materials. The building, converted from an old tractor shed, has everything you need. Two individual toilet stalls, two individual showers stalls, and the shower suite (a private 5 ‘X 5′ changing area coupled with a 5′ X 5’ wet room, shower & toilet). Plenty of hot and cold running water, and a spacious vanity area with three vessel sinks so no waiting. Only need a quick rinse off after a dip in the pond or pool. Try our fun garden shower, an open-air shower enclosure, featuring three shower heads, permanent concrete floor, and corrugated privacy walls.
Hiking Trails
Lace up your hiking boots and explore nature for the day. With trails winding across the ranch, you can discover nature large and small. Wander through the woods and enjoy the native foliage, as well as the birds and animals that inhabit them. Stroll along the herd paths throughout the pastures and gaze at the brilliant skies, colorful flowers, and various wildlife. Our wetland area sits adjacent to a large lake, and offers a spectacular vantage point to observe a variety of waterfowl in their natural habitat. Deer, roadrunner, hawks, raccoon, and beaver are just a few of the residents you may spy on a given day. And, for the patient and lucky, a Bald Eagle sighting is a real possibility.

Community Campfires
There are two communal Campfire sites, one beside the RV park and the other nestled in the woods above the pond surrounded by a natural formation of iron ore boulders you have to see to appreciate. The largest being nine feet high. Gather around and feel the energy of the land, one can’t help but imagine that this has always been a magical place for the people who came before us. Share stories, and celebrate friendships old and new as the fire cracks and the embers rise into the night sky and join the stars.

Individual campfires
We do ask that prior to building a campfire at your individual site, you check with Management. Often during our season, the conditions may be dry and a Burn Ban may be in effect, requiring a more strict policy for open fires. Please do not start any UN-contained, campfires. We have installed a number of fire bowls at popular camp sites for you convenience. If you have found the perfect tent site, and we have not yet placed a fire bowl there, let us know, we may have one we can place for you. There are two separate communal campfires (one in the primitive camping area and one near the RV park) are always available, unless under Burn Ban, for guests to enjoy. We also have a limited number of charcoal grills available for use upon request.
